How I Do Business |

There are a lot of people in my profession that provide mortgage financing. I am, however, different than most of them. I currently receive 92% of my business “By Referral Only”. That means that I dedicate 100% of my time delivering world class service to the clients that were referred to me instead of spending my time trying to attract new business. By doing business this way, I am able to provide an extraordinary experience that leaves my clients “raving” to tell others.
Most people that provide mortgage financing are salespeople/order takers. When I refer to a sales person, picture a taxi cab driver. If you have ever been in a taxi cab, then you can relate to what I am about to describe to you. When you take a taxi, your experience goes as follows: You wait at the curb and get picked up. You get into the cab and tell the driver where you want to go. You don’t talk to the driver much at all during the ride. You reach your destination and then you get dropped off. You pay for the ride and watch the taxi take off looking for their next customer. There is no relationship there.
I, on the other hand, am a Mortgage Consultant/Planner. When I refer to a Mortgage Consultant/Planner, picture a limousine. I choose to think of my business like a limousine service. My goal is to offer my clients a ride where they are treated with extreme care and hospitality during the loan process. My job is to listen to the needs of my clients and provide the kind of product and service that best meets those needs, while keeping their best interests foremost in my mind along the way. Unlike the taxi cab driver, after my clients are dropped off at closing, I keep in touch with them because I want to be there when the next need arises. In most cases, that need is already pre-determined through the financial goals that are shared with me up front. And the best news is that this ride costs no more than the taxi cab ride. My goal is to create lifelong, lasting relationships one client at a time.
