What is the Process?

There are several ways to get started. The easiest is to complete the application by clicking on the “Apply Online” button on the home page of the site. The application can also be done over the phone or in person at the initial consultation.

Once I have the application, we will discuss what your short term and long term goals are. We will go over and evaluate your overall financial picture and then I will make some recommendations to you. The goal will be to provide the best mortgage that meets your situation to provide you with the best source of cash flow to obtain liquidity and safety, as well as providing you with the best overall rate of return (This will be discussed in more detail).

After you are comfortable with the mortgage product, I will gather financial documentation such as pay stubs, etc. A detailed list of items I will need are on the home page under “Paperwork Needed”.

From here, the loan will be sent to processing for the documents to be reviewed. This usually takes about 3 days. The loan goes to Underwriting next.

The Underwriter will verify that the loan meets the product guidelines and request additional documentation if needed. Once all Underwriting conditions are cleared, the loan is “Clear To Close”. That means that our closing department will prepare the closing paperwork to be signed at closing.

Typically, all closing packages arrive at the attorney’s office at least 2 days prior closing. The attorney will contact you to let you know how much money will be needed at closing in the form of a Certified Check.
